LINE APP TUTORIAL- How do I login with a QR code?

Recently been using the LINE app on the business and therefore I wanted to share some tips on the free apps. You can use the PC version of LINE without registering your email address, by logging in using the QR code.

LINE’s Main Features

Free voice and video calls: Use your PC or smartphone to keep in touch with friends and family both at home and abroad, or hold a business meeting on the go!

Instant messaging anywhere: Conversation is just a tap away. Spice it up with LINE’s exciting collection of stickers or send pictures, videos, and even GPS coordinates to let your friends know what you’re up to.

A full-featured social networking service: Post your day-to-day activities to your Timeline or comment on your friends’ posts.

Group chats: Share important information with your co-workers or talk about mutual interests with your closest friends.

Find new expressions in the Sticker Shop: The world’s largest collection of stickers features famous and unique characters from around the world to let you express yourself just the way you want to.

1. Select [QR Code Login] on the login screen of the PC/browser version of LINE.
2. Scan the QR code using the QR Code Reader, found in the [Add Friends] tab of the LINE app on your smartphone/device.
3. Press the [LOGIN] button which appears in the LINE app on your smartphone/device. This should log you into the PC/browser version.



*Please note that the QR code stays valid for 5 min. However, depending upon the PC settings, the validity may be shorter.

You can also change your email by doing the following:
*Steps may vary slightly depending on the device you are using.

1) Open LINE's Settings
2) Tap Accounts
3) Tap Email Registration
4) Tap Change Your Email
5) Enter your registered email and password, then tap OK
6) Enter the new email and password you want to register and tap OK.

If you are having trouble registering, there is a possibility that there may be spaces in the email/password you entered, as some devices are programmed to input spaces automatically. Please ensure there aren’t any spaces!
