Beware! Souq.com is Cheating their Customer

Is Souq.com a cheater since they are advertising a Go Pro Hero 3+ Black Edition for AED 1,699 and if you are not aware of the specifications, they will deliver to you a GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition only!

Beware, just ordered GoPro Hero 3+ from Souq.com but they delivered older model.

Just got my supposed to be GoPro Hero 3+ which I ordered from Souq.com. After waiting for 6 days before they deliver the item, a different model from the one I ordered was delivered.

It is very clear from the description that the item which cost AED 1,699 is the GoPro Hero 3+ Black Edition and not the GoPro Hero 3 Black edition only.

You cannot say that it is not intentional since the GoPro Hero 3+  clearly has a plus (+) sign on the camera unit itself.

This is what I got from Souq.com, an older version of the camera and not the Hero3+.

NOTE: Please share this article to all your friends who used to shop online for them to be aware of what might me happening on their order as the online shopping store will try to cheat on them so it's better for them to know the specification of the products that they are buying otherwise they might settle for second best. UPDATE: January 19, 2014- Souq.com with seller dod_uae is cheating their customer. I just returned today the GoPro Hero 3+ Black Edition to Souq.com which was pick-up by QExpress. I telephoned their customer service thereafter and asked how about the replacement since they deliver the worng item. The worst thing on this is that the QExpess will pick-up the item which according to the telephone operator will take 3 to 4 working days and it will be returned to the seller and I might wait for another one week before they send me the correct item, knowing the delivery service from this online store, you have to have more patience. So with a small difference on the price it is better for you guys to check-out other online store here in UAE with a better service and a way faster delivery service, the likes of JadoPado, CrazyDeals  and much more. The two mentioned online store can deliver your item in a couple of hours only after you placed your order or at least within the next day unlike in Souq where the delivery will take 7 to 10 days or more if you don't follow-up and request to expedite your order.

Right now my goal is not to order from Souq.com again since it's very stressful and a waste of time to communicate with them, especially they don't have a free hotline like JadoPado and CrazyDeals to make a follow-up, you have to wait for a long queue and so you have to have enough mobile load for you to be able to speak with them.

Why JadoPado is better than Souq.com

I have been a long customer from Souq.com since we all know that it is much cheaper to purchase electronics here in most items. However, if you want your item to be delivered earlier, you should consider JadoPado.

Right now i just placed an order for a Dell a laptop at Souq.com on January 2 and the their estimated delivery time is just too long from January 7-11 as you can see from the screen capture of my account from Souq.com.

I requested on their website if they can deliver it earlier but received no any response from the seller. I called them if they can be considerate enough to deleiver it earlier than the estimated time but still no update on the delivery status.
