Download Star Wars Digital Movie Collection on iTunes

For the first time ever, the empire has descended onto the digital platform in the galaxy – or at least here on Earth. The entire Star Wars Digital Movie Collection is now available for pre-order on iTunes Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines.

All six epic films will be fully released for purchase as a complete digital movie collection and individually. Viewers and fans alike will be able to enjoy the Star Wars Saga on their favorite devices anywhere on Star Wars Day – May the 4th.

Marvel and Star Wars on Disney Infinity

Yes, that’s right: Marvel and Star Wars characters will be getting the figurine and virtual toy treatment, meaning one day, Luke Skywalker, Jack Sparrow, Spider-man, and Monster University’s Sulley could be having adventures together. Sounds like a dream made in geek heaven.



Disney Infinity is an action-adventure sandbox video game developed by Avalanche Software and published by Disney Interactive Studios.[2] It was announced in 2010 and developed for approximately $100 million. Similar to Activision'sSkylanders franchise, the game uses collectible figurines that are then synchronized with the game, allowing for characters from Disney and Pixar properties to interact and go on adventures.[3] The game was released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3,Wii, Wii U, and Nintendo 3DS in August 2013. A PC version of Toy Box was also released on November 14, 2013.

According to GMA Network report, Disney Infinity has proven financially successful, selling over three million starter sets to date since its release in August 2013. It has made Disney Interactive’s last quarter extremely profitable.

Disney is reportedly planning to bring two of its hottest properties into its popular sandbox video game, Disney Infinity. 

Star Wars VII Movie Trailer

Catch Star Wars VII Movie Trailer as we will be posting it once it becomes available online. Star Wars Episode VII script will be rewritten by the movie’s director J.J. Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan (Raiders of the Lost Ark).

Entertainment Weekly reports Lucasfilm announced the two have take over screenwriting duties from Oscar winner Michael Arndt.

While there’s no specific release date in 2015 yet, the San Francisco-based production company said shooting will start in Spring 2014. No word yet as to where Arndt would be heading.

Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy has this to say about the screenwriter shuffle:

“I am very excited about the story we have in place and thrilled to have Larry and J.J. working on the script. There are very few people who fundamentally understand the way a Star Wars story works like Larry, and it is nothing short of incredible to have him even more deeply involved in its return to the big screen. J.J. of course is an incredible storyteller in his own right. Michael Arndt has done a terrific job bringing us to this point and we have an amazing filmmaking and design team in place already prepping for production,” she said, according to the EW article.

Director-to-be J.J. Abrams, during the Produced By Conference, announced the filming of the newest installment to the George Lucas' Star Wars saga.



Abrams revealed that the shooting for the upcoming sequel to Return of the Jedi will begin in January 2014 in London.



“I think that the thing is so big and so massive to so many people that the key to moving forward is honoring but not revering what went before.” Abrams said.

Star Wars: Episode 7- Harrison Ford return as Han Solo?

The latest buzz is that Ford’s will reprise her role in the upcoming “Star Wars”. The said return on the  film would mean that bringing back of some of the original cast to reprise their characters is possible. This, plus the ‘death of Han Solo’ in the new movie, are mere speculations though.

The Christian Science Monitor has reported about the Harrison Ford rumor on Friday, February 15. The report said there’s unofficial word that Ford has signed-on for “Star Wars: Episode 7” for the same role that established the actor as a superstar more than four decades ago.

Ford’s portrayal of Han Solo started in the first “Star Wars” film in 1977. He went on to play the role in its sequels such as “The Empire Strikes Back” (1980) and “Return of the Jedi” (1983), as well as “The Star Wars Holiday Special” in 1978.

Kinect Star Wars is a video game for XBox 360 that will feature realistic hack and slash light saber action. The game uses the Kinect for lightsaber slices, jumps, and force powers.
