The PS Plus free games lineup for May has been revealed, with Tropico 5 and Table Top Racing: World Tour leading the charge.

First up is the island dictator sim Tropico 5, featuring the long-running virtual dictator, El Presidente! Tropico 5 is a full-fledged city-building game based on the fictional island nation of Tropico. Inside this not-so-subtle parody, El Presidente guides and directs the everyday life of his beloved Tropicans using a firm grip and ridiculous edicts, all presented with a heavy dose of tongue-in-cheek humor.

Frozen Synapse Tactics available on Playstation Network

Tactics is an evolution of the acclaimed turn-based PC strategy game by Mode 7. For those new to Frozen Synapse Tactics; players control an elite strike team of futuristic soldiers, from shotgunners and snipers to grenadiers and machine-gunners. Players plot paths and issue orders for their units, aiming to predict their opponent's strategies or complete the match objectives.



The original Frozen Synapse was released in 2011, developed by indie studio Mode 7. It has since sold over 430,000 copies and received great critical acclaim, reaching an incredibly respectable score of 85 on Metacritic - including five stars from The Escapist and 9/10 from Edge.
