Gitex 2013 Schedule and Venue

Due to the huge success of GITEX Shopper 2012, GITEX Shopper 2013 will held much earlier next year. GITEX 2013 will offer a double bonanza of tech opportunity with a show scheduled to take place from 3 – 6 April 2013, followed by the traditional year-end event from 5 – 12 October 2013, and both to be held at the ultra-convenient Dubai World Trade Centre.



GITEX Shopper’s position as the largest and most influential consumer IT and electronics retail sales extravaganza in the Middle East was confirmed once again as the 2012 edition closed with retailers reporting a strong increase in sales figures. Millions of dirhams worth of gadgets and electronics were sold over the eight day shopping event.

Power retailers and world-class brands participating in the show reported total sales in excess of AED 237 million, representing an increase of 23% compared to GITEX Shopper 2011.





Visitor numbers also swelled to 206,201 in 2012, a 22% increase over last year. The much anticipated show which took place at Dubai World Trade Centre this year, saw tens of thousands of satisfied customers walk away with some of the latest gadgets at fantastic show prices, numerous giveaways and bundled offers that the event is renowned for.

We manage to buy Google Nexus. the last piece for that day at only around 5:00 P.M.-October 5. The agent of Asus told us to go to Jacky's Jumbo and Emax and it was already out of stock and finally we found the last piece at Plug-ins. It's a good thing we wait for Gitex Shoppers 2012 since the price before was 1299 Dhs. and during Gitex they dropped the price to 1099 Dhs with a lot of freebies such as Asus mug, ballpen and a whole lot more. Same thing and a lot of freebies we got on buying JVC compact video camera.
