How to use Blogger Page-level ads to increase revenue

admin 23:52 Add Comment

How to place Page-level ads on your website and blogs?

Page-level ads are a family of ad formats that offer a new and
innovative way for you to monetize your content. With Page-level ads,
you place the same piece of ad code once on each page that you want to
show the ads. Once you've added the code, AdSense will automatically
show Page-level ads at optimal times when they’re likely to perform well
for you and provide a good experience for your users.

Place this ad code in the <head> tag (or at the top of the <body>) of the pages where you want to show the ads. It’s the same ad code for every page and site, and you won’t need to change it even if you adjust your Page-level ads settings.

For more help with implementing your ad code, see the Code Implementation Guide.

YouTube Monetization Bug February 2014- What to do?

admin 20:15 Add Comment

Please report this bug to Youtube community .Changing titles and re posting the video doesn't work .It happened in 2013 and now it's back .Keep sending your feedback and leave a comment below if someone finds a solution.

It's been a week from now, I'm having problems with videos monetization. It takes forever for a video to monetize, some up to 12 hours. Usually this is a matter of few seconds but since the last 24 hours it's become a real issue.

Meanwhile, for those who are not aware of the few changes to MCNs (Multi-Channel Networks) and its partners here's some highlights to what's going on:

  1. MCN partners are being divided into two separate groups called an 'affiliate' or 'managed'.
Larger channels will generally be put on managed and the smaller ones won't, unfortunately but solely depends on the network.

MCNs will now be liable for all of their managed partners.

  2. Instant monetization goes bye-bye for affiliate partners. Managed and those with YouTube directly are unaffected by this change.

Videos will go under review much like the process AdSense partners go through, generally taking around 24 hours for approval or denial.

  3. Affiliate partners are guaranteed YouTube Analytics' revenue access and the possibility of unlinking from your network from your Features page. Note however, the network can simply reject your request in a click of a button, or release.

For more information about these changes please check out these articles:

Update: Solution:

What I did was just is that I just click the "monetization" on the right side corner of the page.

Click Chaneel Settings then Monetization then click "Monetized Videos and you're done.

Google Adsense Automatic payment declined by Western Union- What to do

What to do when your Google Adsense Automatic payment declined by Western Union?

I am an Adsense publisher and have been on the Adsense program for over 4 years. I have been receiving earnings payments for over one year by Western Union Quick Cash with no problems. My payee name and other details have not changed during the past year.

I logged into my Adsense payment console today and saw the following message in the payment line:

"Automatic payment declined: Western Union for (€xxx.xx). No reason provided by your financial institution"

This morning I received an email from Adsense team informing me:

"The payment we sent for your Google AdSense earnings on Jun 21, 2013 was unsuccessful.

Please verify that your payment settings are correct and contact your payment provider to ensure any issues are resolved. You must resolve this issue in order to be paid.

To view and update your payment settings, please follow these steps:

Sign in to your AdSense account at https://www.google.com/adsense.

Click on "Payments" under Home tab, and then "Payment settings".

Update your form of payment information.

Please note that if you are paid by check or by Western Union, you will need to click the 're-enable' button to re-enable your form of payment.

Sincerely,

The Google AdSense Team"

Solution: According to Google Adsesnse you don't have to do anything and wait for them to re-issue payment with Western Union.

"We're expanding the number of Western Union payments that we're sending through our new payments system this month, primarily to publishers in the Asia-Pacific region. A small number (~5%) of the payments we sent to publishers in the following countries were incorrectly declined by Western Union and need to be re-issued. No action is required on your part. We are working with Western Union to complete the configuration changes and will automatically reissue the payments. We expect to complete this in the next 24 hours.

Affected countries:

Egypt
Saudi Arabia
Cambodia
China
Indonesia
Malaysia
Nepal
Pakistan
Philippines
Singapore
South Korea
Taiwan
Thailand
Vietnam

Thanks for your patience, and we're working to resolve this quickly."
