Today Facebook announced it's video calling platform which is "a mini-Skype client" that runs within Facebook.com. The feature is an obvious move to counter Google Plus Hangouts where people can chat with friends via video. This video shows you how to quickly and easily get started with the platform and some of it's features.

Facebook announced today that the company will launch group chat, video calling with Skype and a redesigned chat side bar to make communication on Facebook easy and powerful.

Facebook has made the video chatting/calling service as a built in service into Facebook’s chat platform. According to the announcement, only two clicks are required to get the service. By clicking the video call button at the top of the chat window the users can send a video call request to the desired person and if the person accept the request then they can use the service conveniently. The new service will support about 70 different languages and it is desired that it will be available all of its 750 million users over the next weeks. Mr. Su also said, “Now it’s easier to find your friends and start a conversation.”
