Facebook has partnered with Spotify and Rdio music services to launched a new feature called Listen With which allows you to listen to musicwith your friends. It means you and your friend must be registered users of the service.
Currently, Spotify is available in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, USA and United Kingdom. Rdio, on the other hand, is available in the United States, Canada,Germany, Brazil, Australia and New Zealand.
Therefore, Facebook users in countries not mentioned are unable to use the Listen With feature.
You can listen along to any of your friends who are listening to music. You can listen to the same song in real time. In other words, your friend serves as your personal DJ.
A music note in the chat sidebar will let you know who among your friends are listening to music. Just hover over the name and click the Listen With button.
