Adobe CS6, Creative Cloud

Adobe unveiled the next version of its Creative Suite and launch its Creative Cloud online service on Monday, April 23, 2012.



Tech blog TechCrunch.com says users can get full access to any CS6 tool including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and AfterEffects for $49 per month with an annual subscription, or $79 per month for monthly memberships.

Meanwhile, Photoshop will be reportedly available through a standalone subscription for $19.99 per month with an annual membership, and $29.99 sans the yearly membership.

A student and teacher edition of Creative Cloud will be offered for $29.99 per month.

Google company announced its Google Drive product, providing 5 gigabytes of room for users. Also today, the Gmail team made it known that all users of the email system are going to receive a 33% boost in their space, from 7.5 to 10 gigabytes.

Google Drive gives all individual users 5GB of storage, if you need more than 5GB of storage, Google’s pricing starts at $2.49/month for 20GB, and scales all the way up to a massive 16TB for $800/month.

CNET reported added the button is different from the "Listen With" buttons users can click when they see what their friends are listening to.

iPad Mini available on September 2012- report

According to a recently uncovered Samsung Securities document, the smaller iPad is inevitable and will arrive in the third quarter of 2012, according to OLED-Display.net.

The report comes after The Korea Times wrote last month that Samsung was supplying Apple with “new PLS-based LCD technology for smaller iPads.” An unnamed Samsung official also told the publication that Apple was “planning to release a smaller iPad, probably with a 7.86-inch screen,” later this year. The current iPad has a 9.7-inch screen.

According to the report, the price range of the mini ipad will range from $249 to $299.

Sony Wrist Watch do the Internet with Android Software

On Thursday, April 12, Sony  released an Internet-linked wristwatch powered by Google-backed Android software.



According to AFP report, SmartWatch gets online by connecting wirelessly to a wearer's Android smartphone using Bluetooth technology, according to Sony.

SmartWatch features an ultra-responsive touch display, a 36mm screen and allows users to check tweets, emails, check the weather and read a map - anything as long as there is an app for it.



According to Sony, mini-apps, tailored to SmartWatch devices, are already available at the Google Play online shop.

Draw Something," the popular social drawing game app, has surpassed 50 million donwloads 50 days after its launch, a tech site reported Thursday (Manila time).

PC Magazine quoted Zynga - which acquired the game's maker OMGPOP recently - as saying the game passed the mark on Wednesday.

Apple’s iPhone 5 is reportedly set to launch this summer. This smartphone will feature a new technology known as Near Field Communication (NFC).

Galaxy Tab 2 series Specs and Price

Two more variants have just been introduced by the Korean tech giant in the same sizes as the original 7-inch slate and the first 10.1-inch model. They form the latest Galaxy Tab 2 series that will ship with the latest Google Android operating system, Ice Cream Sandwich.



The Galaxy Tab 2 series is available in 3G and Wi-Fi versions, both models run on 1GHz dual-core processor and are fitted with 3-megapixel rear camera and VGA for the front sub-camera for video call. They come preloaded with Samsung applications and services such as the Samsung TouchWiz/Samsung Live Panel, Samsung Apps, Samsung Readers Hub and Game Hub, Samsung Hub Widget, Google Mobile Services, and Polaris document editor, among others.

No official date has been set for their local availability, but it’s probably safe to assume within this quarter. Likewise, local prices for the new 7.0 and 10.1 Galaxy Tab 2 models are not yet available.

'Check who visited your Facebook profile is a Scam- report says.

A computer security firm warned Facebook users this week against installing and running a supposed app that promises to let one see who has viewed his or her profile.



Sophos said the rogue app is preceded by messages claiming Facebook has issued a new update which allows a user to check who has visited his or her profile.

“Clearly rogue applications like this could be used for scooping up personal information, or spreading spam and scams across the social network,” it said in a blog post.

Sophos said the app would post a message to the user’s Facebook page without the user’s explicit permission, and encouraging others to use the app.

“And remember this - Facebook does not give you any way to find out who has been viewing your profile. Any application or link which claims it can reveal to you who has should be treated with great suspicion,” it added.
