Intel and Indian manufacturer Lava have officially announced their partnership and the first Intel based smartphone to head to the India market, the XOLO X900. The Medfield handset running the Intel Atom Z2460 1.6Ghz will be hitting the streets in India on April 23 for $424. The 4.03″ device is based on the Intel Atom 1.6GHz Z2460 with a 1024 x 600 LCD touchscreen with quadband HSPA+ (850/900/1900/2100) and 8-megapixel camera.
