The rain started on Thursday evening and still continues in different parts of the country. The Met office forecast said that it will in the UAE on Friday and Saturday according to the report from Emirates 24/7.
The traffic on Dubai-Sharjah Etihad Road was moving at snail pace due to heavy rain. In fact some motorists had parked their cars on the roadside just to enjoy the rain.
