Earth Hour tonight. Again, anything to save the environment. But do you really have to wait for this each year to make a difference?
Earth Hour 2013, will be held at 8:30 PM on Saturday 23 March. Earth Hour has grown from a one-city initiative in 2007 to the world's largest campaign for the planet, uniting hundreds of millions of people.
According to Khaleej Time, Earth Hour is a reminder. About doing what you can — the little steps, individual initiatives, about segregating paper from plastic, about disposing of things conscientiously, about using less aluminum takeaway boxes, about having shorter showers, about teaching your child to compost, the value of soil and why earthworms are good.
