You can play the PS4 through the Xbox One. Ever wondered what happens when you run PlayStation 4 through the Xbox One's HDMI input? Well now you know.
PS4 only capable recording 15 minutes of gameplay by it's own, so with this you can record your PS4 gameplay on Xbox one as long as you want (as long as your Xbox one HDD still capable to record)
I guess the question might be, how bad is the latency? And how about playing a device like Xbox 360 through it, a device that can be displayed in a lower resolution, would that mean less lag since the Xbox One has less information to process?
It does not process anything. It's just being used as a pass through device, that is all. No need to think about extra things that would not make sense
It's cool, but there's no real point to this. the point of the HDMI input of the Xbox One is to have your TV, Computer plugged in, and being able to, watch TV on your Xbox for instance, just plug your sattelite TV receiver thing and there you go. Plugging a PS4 or a PS3 or even a Xbox360 in the Xbox One wont make a single difference to how the One reacts, it's just plain video streaming.
