According to Virgin Megastore blog, f you haven’t heard or read about Abu Dhabi’s Yas Mall opening yet, where have you been hiding the past 10 days?
Myself I used to buy my Blu-Ray Disc and Vinyl Record from Virgin Megastore in Deira City Center.
Virgin Megastore Yas, the brand’s 9th store in the UAE, opened for the public the same day as the Mall, on November 19, and we are very excited to show it off to our customers. This store has been a long time in planning and the opening was the culmination of hard work and dedication from all of our teams.
According to the report, this store is new and different in many ways when compared to the existing 8 stores in the UAE: the 2-floor space (a first for the brand in the UAE) blends elements of industrial design with urban living, creating an edgy mix of concrete, metal and wood. "The shipping containers in the apparel section of the store add to the edgy atmosphere. The highlight of this new store, however, has to be the feature that everyone’s talking about: the large red twirly slide that connects the 2 floors, allowing visitors to travel at the speed of light (well, almost)".
