Microsoft Store challenges you to put your skills to the test in the Race for the Record. Set a lap time in the Race for the Record Rivals event on Forza Motorsport 6 to qualify for a shot at a Guinness World Record… and the Ultimate Grand Prize.
The winner of the Race for the Record will walk away with a brand new Ford Mustang GT.
To enter the Contest you must be an Xbox Live member in good standing and have access to an Xbox One console, access to the Xbox One game title “Forza Motorsport 6.”
Once you meet these system requirements, you will be entered into the Contest when you complete the following steps within the Preliminary Round:

How to Enter/System Requirements
To enter the Contest you must be an Xbox Live member in good standing and have access to an Xbox One console, access to the Xbox One game title “Forza Motorsport 6.”
Once you meet these system requirements, you will be entered into the Contest when you complete the following steps within the Preliminary Round:
- From an Xbox One console, log in to Forza Motorsport 6 using your valid Xbox Live account and gamertag
- Go to the “Rivals” section from the “Go Race” menu
- Go to the “Monthly” channel of Rivals mode
- Look for the specific Rivals mode event there and press A to enter
- Complete a full lap in the game on the Watkins Glen Short track using the 2016 Ford Shelby GT350R
- Submit your time on the Forza Race for the Record leaderboard
