What to do If I got an Error 8027025A occurs when an Xbox One app takes too long to open.

You see the following error code when you try to start an Xbox One app:

This may mean that the application did not load in the time expected.

Solutions

Solution 1: Check the Xbox Live service status
If you see any alerts here, wait until the service is up and running and try again:
Xbox Live Core Services: up and running
1/1/2016, 7:43:39 AM

Solution 2: Start the app again
To do this, first stop the app:
  1. Go to Home by pressing the Xbox button.
  2. With the focus on the app tile, select the Menu button.
  3. Select Quit.
Wait at least 10 seconds and then start the app again.
Solution 3: Restart your console
  1. Scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide.
Note Double-tapping the Xbox button will open the guide from any other screen on the console.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Restart console.
  4. Select Yes to confirm.
Note If you're unable to access the guide or if the console appears to be frozen, press and hold the Xboxbutton on the console for 10 seconds, until the console turns off. After the console shuts down, touch theXbox button on the console again to restart.
