I have received an e-mail from BDO Bank telling me that my password id about to expire. Firstly, I don't have a BDO account so how can I have a password?

The body of the email below says:

Dear Valued Costumer, Your Password is about to Expire. BDO Unibank Security will suspend your account in 2 days. After June 19, 2023, you won't be able to access the account or any of the content you added. But when I check the e-mail address of the sender that's when I confirmed it is a scam.
The email address is "support@telositalia.it".

Beware when you are opening an email from a Bank Instituotion that looks legit, the best thing you can do is to check the e-mail address of the sender.

My sister has a co-teacher who's husband work as an OFW and according to her, someone who pretends as an employee of the bank ask her for the OTP and the moment she gave the OTP, all the money from their bank account has gone.

We, the citizens should be vigilant and share this kind of modus to our family and friends when we are in doubt.
