According to ESPN report, the Los Angeles Lakers, whose plan to re-sign center Dwight Howard did not pan out this offseason, are looking at adding LeBron James or Carmelo Anthony -- among others in a star-studded 2014 free-agent class.
Lakers reconstruction will probably be a one-year process that will restock the shelves with top-flight talent and make them an immediate contender in 2014-15, according to Bleacher's Report.
Both LeBron and Anthony have early termination options on their contracts that could see them opt out and join new teams.
