Mighty Bomb Jack NES Game now available on Wii U

Grab your bombs and make your way through 16 levels of a pyramid in the action-filled Mighty Bomb Jack. The NES games is now available in the Virtual Console on Wii U.

Discover the hidden secrets within the pyramid, and save the royal family!

The hero of the game, Jack, must make his way through 16 levels of a pyramid in order to defeat the demon Belzebut and rescue the royal Pamera family. Each level is split into two parts: an action zone and a Royal Palace room. Action zones can be split up into several portions, and contain power-ups, such as money bags, Mighty Coins, and Mighty Drinks, usually hidden in treasure chests. Mighty Coins allow Jack to change colors, and Mighty Drinks add 10 seconds to the game's timer. However, be careful to not get greedy with collecting many too Mighty Coins or Mighty Drinks. Otherwise, you'll find yourself doing jumping jacks in the Torture Room!

Nintendo 3DS only $170 starting August 12, 2011

Good News to all game fanatics. Nintendo 3DS is to drop to $170 on August 12, while the current own.

According to the report from Techcrunch, current owners of the console will receive ten free NES games along with ten free Game Boy Advance titles on September 1st (provided they’ve logged into the Nintendo eShop before August 12.













Now Nintendo has taken the DS one step further by including 3D (three dimensional) capabilities into its latest release, the Nintendo 3DS. What’s fascinating is that the 3DS does not require special glasses in order to see the 3D effects.


The 3DS hardware looks similar to its predecessors, but it comes loaded with a number of additional features and more gaming horsepower. There are two screens, a touch screen on the bottom half and the top screen has been upgraded to a larger version that can display 3D effects.
