Australian Feliks Zemdegs wins the 2013 Rubik's Cube World Championship completing his fastest single solve in 7.36 seconds. Feliks Zemdegs is the current world record holder for the 3x3 Rubik's Cube (an amazing 5.66 seconds).
Feliks Zemdegs edged his rivals to claim the sought-after 3x3 category, ending up with an average time of 8.18 seconds - beating Holland's Mats Valk who finished with 8.65 seconds. Germany's Sebastian Weyer came third, averaging 8.86 seconds.
Zemdegs, who secured the $3,000 prize, also won the 4x4 Rubik's Cube and One-Handed 3x3 categories.
