A United Arab Emirates (UAE) court on Wednesday sentenced a Filipino salesman to one year in jail after projecting himself as a “male prostitute” online, a UAE news site reported on Thursday.
The Filipino, 30, was discovered and charged after Emirati police who were surfing the web for Internet-related crimes, Gulf News reported.
The prosecutors had accused the salesman of creating a personal online account introducing himself as a prostitute who can perform services for male clients.
