CopyNShare Now Available to All Publishers!

CopyNShare is the new ShareThis widget feature that allows you to measure text and address URL copy-and-shares on your website.

ShareThis adds a special #hashtag at the end of your address bar URL to keep track of where your content is being shared on the web, from Facebook, Twitter to emails, etc. See Example 1. When a user copies text within your site, a “See more: yourURL.com#SThashtag” will appear after the pasted text.

If you already have the ShareThis widget installed on your site, there is no need to do anything cause you already have the text copy-and-share feature.

Multiply.com quits social networking

Multiply.com quits social networking according to the report from AKTV.



As it endeavors to become one of the biggest e-Commerce platforms in the Philippines, erstwhile social networking platform Multiply is ridding itself of all social features by December.



This means the myriad of blogs, photos, music, and videos uploaded by thousands of Multiply users since 2004 will be deleted in four months’ time, according to the company’s new CEO.

“We have decided to discontinue providing and hosting these services, as we have concluded that other Internet sites who are committed to social networking services will do a better job serving you than we can,” wrote Stefan Magdalinski, Multiply’s newly appointed CEO, in a blog post entitled “We are sorry.”
