How much do PVL Players earn?

Earlier there was an online buzz that Petro Gazz Angel's outside hitter, Myla Pablo is the highest paid volleyball player with a five million contract with Motolite before. While Eya Laure is said to be receiving  a P800,000 monthly salary with Cherry Tiggo Crossovers and Faith Nisperos having the same salary with her mother team, Akari Chargers but these are not yet confirmed.

According to ERI's Salary Expert Databe, the average volleyball player gross salary in Manila, Philippines is ₱346,214/ year or an equivalent to Php28,851 per month or hourly rate of ₱166. This is 8% higher (+₱25,171) than the average volleyball player salary in Philippines.


How much do PVL Players earn?

 In addition, they earn an average bonus of ₱8,032. Salary estimates based on salary survey data collected directly from employers and anonymous employees in Manila, Philippines. An entry-level volleyball player (1-3 years of experience) earns an average salary of ₱260,748. On the other end, a senior level volleyball player (8+ years of experience) earns an average salary of ₱422,738.

Although there was no disclosure of the actual salary and incentives, it has been said that Alyssa Valdez of the Creamline Cool Smashers is currently the highest-paid PVL player.

Meanwhile, Alas Pilipinas pool players are getting a P50,000 monthly allowance direct from the team sponsor, Meralco aside from their allowance as National Players. They have received P200,000 cash incentives from Senator Bong Go after winning a Bronze Medal in the recently concluded, AVC Challenge Cup.

Who will get the first pick? 

The Zus Coffee Thunderbelles (formerly the Strong Group Athletics), Capital1 Solar Spikers, Galeries Tower Highrisers, and Farm Fresh Foxies eye the first overall pick in the inaugural PVL draft.

There were players from UAAP, NCAA and former and current PVL players who joined the first-ever PVL Draft.

Who’s got the highest chances and who actually gets the first pick in the draft lottery on June 24? 👀LOOK | Here are the 47 aspirants who will take part in the inaugural Premier Volleyball League Rookie Draft this July 8, 2024!

Thea Gagate, Middle Blocker from DLSU has a bigger chance of being the number one drafted player. While Julia Coronel who also came from DLSU and also a part of Alas Pilipinas together with Gagate has a good chance of getting picked in the first round.

Roma Mae Doromal, a Libero and former Ateneo Blue Eagles will have a good chance also of getting drafted by first four teams to pick from a total of twelve PVL teams.

Some of the UAAP standouts who are aspiring to play in the PVL Reinforced Conference are Lucille Mae Almonte and  Ma. Rochelle Lalongisip from Adamson University, Stephani Bustrillo and Jewel Hannah Ysabelle Encarcnacion from University of the Philippinesa and Princes Maicah Larroza.

PVL Reinforced Conference 2024 Team Import Revealed

Who are the import of CCS and CMFT? and So far there are already four teams who already revelaed their inport for the upcoming PVL Reinforced Conference 2024. Kath Bell who play with Peron before and rumored to be the CCS import for this conference was confirmed to play but with Cherry Tiggo Cross Overs. Volleyball fans are excited to learn the import of the remaining eight teams. PVL will also held their first ever Rookie draft on July 6 whcih will make the Reinforced Conference more exciting. I cannot recall the All-Filipino consistent champion Creamline Cool Smashers to have won in the Reinforced Conference. This will be the best time for the CCS to complete their Championship Trophy by getting a reliable reinforced player to help them with their campaign.

PVL Reinforced Conference, Team Import Revealed

Earlier, there was an online buzz that this will be  an Invitational-Reinforced Conference but it seems it will only be a Reinforced Conference. Wilma Salas will return as Petro Gazz Angel's as their import same with returning Elena Samoilenke with PLDT.

As a PVL fan, who do you think will take home the Championship Trophy of the PVL 2023 Invitational Conference. Creamline Cool Smashers with their intact solid line-up and with the addition of bernadette Pons are expected to defend their title very well. Foreign guest teams from Japan and Australia will be on their way for the trophy. New Teams like Gerflor Defenders, Farm Fresh Foxies and Foton Tornadoees might stage an upset. Perennial Top 4 Finalist, Petro Gazz Angels, PLDT High Speed Hitters, Cignal HD Spikers and Cherry Tiggo will also be in contention with the Trophy. Jolina dela Cruz and Mars Alba's addition with F2 Cargo Movers will add spice on the tournament. Choco Mucho is also considere to be a theat with the addition of Sisi Rondina in their roster of Outside Hitter. Just like last year, the guest player will only be scheduled to play during the semi-finals matches. The volleyball community are expecting a beter covergae of the tournament from One Sports and One Sports plus. Hopefully all the games will have a live telecast for the viewers to enjoy.
