According to Blackberry, Blackberry 10 will be available in UAE on February 10, 2013.

Here's what Blackberry was announced:

In the UAE, the BlackBerry Z10 will be available on February 10th. Pricing will vary by carrier partner, but unsubsidized it will retail for AED 2,599.

Since BlackBerry show off the new BlackBerry Z10 and BlackBerry Q10 devices, we know you’re all wondering, “When can I get my hands on them?” I’ve collected all the official details for you below.

Worldwide, BlackBerry have several key markets that are revealing pricing and availability today, including the UK, Canada and UAE:

In the UK, the BlackBerry Z10 will be available beginning tomorrow on pay monthly contracts and pre-pay plans from EE, O2, Vodafone, Phones 4u, BT, 3UK and the Carphone Warehouse. BlackBerry Z10 smartphones will be available fully subsidized on competitive monthly pay contracts. Price points will vary according to carriers and retail partners.
In Canada, the BlackBerry Z10 will be available on February 5th. Pricing will vary by carrier partner, but it will retail for around $149.99 on a 3-year contract.
In the UAE, the BlackBerry Z10 will be available on February 10th. Pricing will vary by carrier partner, but unsubsidized it will retail for AED 2,599.
In the U.S. market, we expect availability with most carriers for the BlackBerry Z10 to be in March. Today, U.S. carriers will start announcing pre-registration and price plans.
Many of our global partners have already launched or will be launching pre-registration and pre-order sites today.
We expect the first global carriers to launch the BlackBerry Q10 in April. We will announce new pricing and availability information as carriers roll out around the world.

YouTube is set to Introduce Paid Subscriptions This Spring according to online report.

YouTube is set to monetize its videos with a new subscription scheme, according to a report from Ad Age.

The report, which came from "multiple people familiar with the plans," says YouTube has asked some people to apply to become some of the first paid channels.

Report added, YouTube is advising its current partners to consider carefully how their existing audience will react. Most have spent years building up a base of free subscribers through hard work and cross-promotion.

According to AFP Report, General Motors lost the global sales crown once again to Toyota in 2012 as its sales grew just 2.9 percent to 9.2 million vehicles, the US auto giant said Monday, January 14.

GM, which briefly regained the crown after Toyota's supplies were shattered by the 2011 Japanese quake and tsunami, nonetheless remains at number two worldwide.

Meanwhile, according to Associated Press, Toyota Motor Corp. released its tally for global vehicle sales for last year Monday at a record 9.748 million vehicles — a bigger number than the estimate it gave last month of about 9.7 million vehicles.

One day we tried to take a ride from Dubai to Jebel Ali passing by the tallest building in the world and the tallest hotel and the only 7-star hotel in the world as well.

Burj Khalifa, known as Burj Dubai prior to its inauguration, is a skyscraper in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is the tallest man-made structure in the world, at 829.8 m.

Meanwhile, Burj Al Arab is a luxury hotel located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. At 321 m (1,053 ft), it is the fourth tallest hotel in the world. Burj Al Arab stands on an artificial island 280 m (920 ft) from Jumeirah beach and is connected to the mainland by a private curving bridge. The shape of the structure is designed to mimic the sail of a ship. Sometimes referred to as "the world's only seven-Star hotel", its star rating is disputed.

Apple released iOS 6.1 beta 5

Apple has released a fifth beta of iOS 6.1 to registered developers according to 9to5mac.com. 

The iOS  is currently available via Apple’s iOS developer center. iOS 6.1 runs on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, and includes a number of enhancements for both users and developers. For example, developers are welcoming new iOS Maps APIs to better integrate Apple’s mapping database into App Store apps.

Tina Turner drop her US citizenship

US rock star, Tina Turner, whose been residing at her Chateau Algonquin lake house in Zurich, Switzerland since 1994, renounces her American citizenship to become a Swiss national.

Citing an official notice published Friday in a local newspaper, Mail Onlinereports that the 73-year-old singer has been granted citizenship by the town’s council, but the decision is not yet final pending approval from state and federal authorities.'

I’m very happy in Switzerland and I feel at home here...I cannot imagine a better place to live,” the US-born Swiss resident singer reportedly said. Her agent had said Turner is set to give her US citizenship back.

Reports and speculations said that Tina Turner’s latest move was for tax reasons, but her supporters were quick to defend the music icon in social media saying they’re happy with her decision as it was all for the love of her life.

Sony New York Office for Sale at $1.1 billion

Sony Office at New York is said to be for Sale at $1.1 billion. According to the report from gamespot, Sony has agreed to sell its New York City-based United States headquarters for $1.1 billion, the company has announced. The 37-story office is located at 550 Madison Ave and will be sold to an investment consortium led by the Chetrit Group.

Report added that, Sony expects the transaction to net proceeds of $770 million after paying debt associated with the building and other various transaction costs.

The next generation ATMs allow users to customize denominations from $1 to $100 during withdrawals so it’s easy for them to get the exact bills they want. What’s more convenient is that these new machines are also capable of dispensing coins, the report said.

According to CNN Money, Chase launched over 350 of these machines over the past months and the number may double before the year ends.

Two financial institutions in the United States, Chase and PNC, have put up across the country ATMs that can dispense $1 and $5 bills and feedback has been positive so far.

Khaleej Times reported, for the first time, the world-famous Sinulog dances with giant papier mache will be brought to Dubai at the “Sinulog sa UAE Festival 2013” from Friday, January 18, at Al Safa Stadium. The festival is expected to bring Filipino families in the UAE closer to their time-honoured festival culture.

Khaleej TImes added, three Filipino organisations will vie for the Sinulog Festival Dance Competition. They are the St Mary’s Dance Group, Filipino Digirati Association and the Filipino Dance Sport Club.

Recently, the festival has been promoted as a tourist attraction, with a competition showing dancers from various parts of the country. The Sinulog competition is usually held in the Cebu City Sports Complex.

A report on The Next Web quoted developers who noted references to a new iPhone identifier and iOS version 7.



"One developer showed us that Apple has been testing hardware relating to a new ‘iPhone6,1′ identifier, powered by a device running iOS 7, which is expected to be released by Apple in the middle part of this year," it said.

Disney Interactive has confirmed the existence of Disney Infinity. Dubbed an "interactive gaming platform" by Disney Interactive co-president John Pleasants, Disney Infinity will be available on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, Wii U, PC, and mobile this June.



According to the report from gamespot, Avalanche Software going toe-to-toe with Activision's Skylanders for new "interactive gaming platform" due for release in June on consoles, PC, and mobile.
