The incident involved an Aerolineas Argentinas Airbus 340 with 240 passengers on board and an Air France 777-300 plane with 350 passengers aboard, supposedly leaving for Paris.
Reports said passengers arriving from Argentina had to get off the plane near the gate while those heading for France were told to reschedule their flight.
Authorities say no one was injured when two commercial jets collided near the gates at Miami International Airport.
