The New York Times Bits blog and the Wall Street Journal report that the California-based company is developing and experimenting in its Cupertino headquarters “wristwatch-like devices made of curved glass” powered by its iOS platform.
If rumors are true, it will be made of the Willow Glass, a bendable glass created by Corning, maker of the Gorilla Glass that is being used in the iPhone. Corning Glass Technologies chief technology officer Pete Bocko has spoken with the NY Times about it.
