Magnitude 8 earthquake reported in Iran, tremors felt across the Middle East and as far away as Indian capital, Delhi
A major earthquake has occurred in the Iran-Pakistan border region. Magnitude 8 earthquake strikes Iran. Earthquake felt in Dubai; epicenter not yet clear, but the same quake seems to have also hit the Iran-Pakistan border region.
Last week, April 9, a 6.1 magnitude earthquake killed at least 37 and injured hundreds more in a sparsely populated area in southern Iran on Tuesday, Iranian officials said, adding that it did not damage a nuclear plant in the region.
