This much-awaited movie sees Angelina Jolie as she takes on the role of Maleficent, the iconic villain from the 1959 classic animated movie “Sleeping Beauty.” The film, which also stars Elle Fanning as Princess Aurora, focuses on Maleficent as a beautiful, pure-hearted young woman who rises to be the land’s fiercest protected but ends up suffering from a ruthless betrayal. The film premieres May 28.
