“Nananwagan ako kay [Mayor] Binay na bumama na po [sa puwesto]; hindi po ito telenovela… hindi po ito drama tungkol sa inyong pamilya“, Roxas said in a press conference held at the noon of June 30, in Camp Aguinaldo.
He also advised Vice President Jejomar Binay, as a high ranking official, to tell his son to abide by the preventive suspension order issued by the Ombudsman and bring to court their appeal.
“Maarami na ang opisyal na isnunsupinde ng Ombudsman at iyan naman ay ipinatupad, hindi po kayo espesyal… si Mayor Binay, espesyal lang siya sa tatay niya, hindi siya espesyal sa batas“, Roxas said.
