What to do if your GCash Transaction Exceeded

admin 18:33

This always happens to me since I was doing a "garden" business and selling and buying plants. When you do business, GCash is a very reliable partner for money transactions. You can receive and pay money in the comfort of your home. However, sometimes in a good given day, you have more buyers paying for ordered plants and eventually, you will receive a notification that you have exceeded your transaction limit in GCash. So what is the next thing you will do? The best thing you can do is get verified to increase your Wallet limits.

Here are some reasons for reaching your transaction limit:
  • You made outgoing transactions totaling to more than ₱100,000 in one day.
  • You are a fully verified user and received more than ₱100,000 into your GCash account within one month.
As part of the rules Globe set for GCash limits, if you have exceeded your transaction limit, you will have to wait until next month to be able to transact again.

If you wish to increase your wallet limits, we have some suggestions below:

Get Fully Verified

If you are a Basic user, you can upgrade your account by getting Fully Verified. You can do this by tapping on your Profile in the GCash App and selecting Verify Now.

For more instructions, visit our How to Get Verified page.

Increase Your Wallet Limits

If you are a Fully Verified user, you can increase your wallet limit to ₱500,000 by simply linking/creating any of the following accounts on your GCash:
  • BPI
  • UnionBank
  • Payoneer
  • GSave
  • GInvest
