Bataan Harbour City is located in Panilao Pilar, Bataan, just behind Pablo Roman National High School to be developed by top real estate firm Diamond Land Resources, Inc. (DLRI) owned by New San Jose Builders, Inc. (NSJBI). This infrastructure project is expected to elevate the 3rd class Municipality of Pilar Bataan to a first Class Municipality.

The Bataan Harbour City  is envisioned to become a self-sustained community and a master-planned development composed of a 75.5-hectare industrial estate with a neighboring port facility and an integrated property with leisure, tourism, commercial and residential spaces. DBP’s financing will focus on the horizontal development of the first phase of the project, which includes the industrial park, residential, leisure, and tourism components.

How to get to BHC? DBP Executive Vice President for Development Lending Paul D. Lazaro said the project is expected to significantly contribute to the economic development of Pilar, a third-class municipality with a population of over 46,000 residents and dubbed as the historical-cultural tourism center of Luzon.

Mayor Carlos Pizarro Jr.  said clearing has started in the three seaside villages where the project, previously and tentatively named Bataan New Container Port City, will rise in a 500-hectare land adjacent to Manila Bay.

Soon groundworks, he said, will begin in time for the completion and operation of the project to be finished in four years.

Pizarro said he has asked the well-known developer of the project not to cause dislocation in any barangay and save the mangroves. 

To be built in the Pilar economic zone are a golf course, Escolta Heritage Building, Giethoorn Village (like in The Netherlands), aviary, forest park, executive village, amusement and theme park, Marina Hotel & Restaurant/Plaza, Marina Bay, light industrial eco-park, medium industrial eco-park, pier/port area, and workshop and warehouse in the reclaimed area.

If you are coming from Manila, you can take NLEX all the way to San Fernado Pampanga exi then McArthur Hi-Way going to Layac Dinalupihan and take right side to Roman Super Hiway then take left from Pilar Crosiings.

For commuters: from Doroteo Jose in Avenida just ride Genesis or Bataan Transit going to Mariveles and ask the driver to drop you in Ala-Uli, Pilar Crossing. From there you can take a tricycle going to BHC.
