It's Official: My Bebe Love Posted More than P60 Million Earnings on Day 1 of the Metro Manila Film Festival.



As reported by GMA Network, My Bebe Love grossed more than P60M on its opening day. The biggest opening in Philippine Movie history.



If the the P60 Million or more per day will continue since the report is not yet final then My Bebe Love is on the right track break the record set by A Second Chance from Star Cinema who earned more than P500 Million on its entire run.



Will My Bebe Love become the first Filipino Film to hit 1 Billion Mark on its entire run?


The much-anticipated first big screen team up of Alden Richards and Maine “Yaya Dub” Mendoza shook Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) records as it posted gross earnings of 60,462,169.57 pesos on its opening day.

Over 33 million pesos from Metro Manila and over 27 million pesos from different provinces were recorded based on initial reports received by GMA Films.

The romantic comedy film also starring Vic Sotto and Aiai Delas Alas earns the lead, followed by 'Beauty and the Bestie' and 'Haunted Mansion.'












“Planes: Fire & Rescue” Movie Trailer Released

The sequel to last year's box-office hit “Planes” (grossing more than $200 million worldwide, with some global markets still to open), “Planes: Fire & Rescue” is a new comedy-adventure about second chances, featuring a dynamic crew of elite firefighting aircraft devoted to protecting historic Piston Peak National Park from raging wildfire.



When world famous air racer Dusty (voice of Dane Cook) learns that his engine is damaged and he may never race again, he must shift gears and is launched into the world of aerial firefighting. Dusty joins forces with veteran fire and rescuehelicopter Blade Ranger and his courageous team, including spirited super scooper Dipper (voice of Julie Bowen), heavy-lift helicopter Windlifter, ex-military transport Cabbie and a lively bunch of brave all-terrain vehicles known as The Smokejumpers. Together, the fearless team battles a massive wildfire and Dusty learns what it takes to become a true hero.

“Everest” will shoot on location in Nepal on the foothills of Everest, the Italian Alps and at Cinecitta Studios in Rome and Pinewood Studios in the UK.



Universal Pictures, Walden Media and Cross Creek Pictures, have announced the start of principal photography on the Working Title Films production of “Everest.”Universal Pictures will release “Everest” in North American theaters in 3D and IMAX 3D on February 27, 2015.

Inspired by the incredible events surrounding a treacherous attempt to reach the summit of the world's highest mountain, “Everest” documents the awe-inspiring journey of two different expeditions challenged beyond their limits by one of the fiercest snowstorms ever encountered by mankind. Their mettle tested by the harshest of elements found on the planet, the climbers will face nearly impossibleobstacles as a lifelong obsession becomes a breathtaking struggle for survival.

The epic adventure stars Jason Clarke (“Zero Dark Thirty”), Josh Brolin (“Gangster Squad”), John Hawkes (“Lincoln”) and Jake Gyllenhaal (“Prince of Persia”). They are joined by Martin Henderson (“The Ring”), Emily Watson (“The Water Horse”), Michael Kelly (Netflix's “House of Cards”) and Thomas M. Wright (television's “The Bridge”). 






 
“Everest” will be directed by Baltasar Kormákur (“2 Guns,” “Contraband”) and produced by Working Title's Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner, Cross Creek's Brian Oliver and Tyler Thompson, as well as Nicky Kentish Barnes (“About Time”).

The film is adapted for the screen by Mark Medoff (“Children of a Lesser God”) and Oscar winner Simon Beaufoy (“Slumdog Millionaire”). Kormákur's creative team includes director of photography Salvatore Totino (“The Da Vinci Code”), production designer Gary Freeman (upcoming “Maleficent”), and costume designer Guy Speranza (“The World's End”).

The official international movie poster for “Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters” has been released. "Sea of Monsters" will hit theaters in August.



Based on the publishing phenomenon, PERCY JACKSON SEA OF MONSTERS continues the young demigod's epic journey to fulfill his destiny. To save their world, Percy and his friends must find the fabled and magical Golden Fleece. Embarking on a treacherous odyssey into the uncharted waters of the Sea of Monsters (known to humans as the Bermuda Triangle), they battle terrifying creatures, an army of zombies, and the ultimate Evil.

He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared.









The film being produced by Dan Lin (“Sherlock Holmes,” “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows”) and Roy Lee (“The Departed,” “How to Train Your Dragon”).
