According to Eurogamer, the PS Vita TV will be able to stream PlayStation 3 games to the home console version of the Vita by using Gaikai's technology and infrastructure. The company revealed this during the ongoing Tokyo Game Show. However, Sony still hasn't revealed when the PS Vita TV is making its way outside of Japan.

According to C/net, Sony's new PS Vita TV could eventually land in the US and Europe.

Set to debut in Japan in November, the PlayStation Vita TV can play Vita games, just like the current PS Vita. But the TV version can also stream PlayStation 4 games and other content to a Wi-Fi enabled TV.

Sony's new micro console plays Vita games and streams PS4 games, Microsoft gets ready to reveal new Surface tablets, and Xbox Music expands to more devices -- right before iTunes Music launches.
