Temple Run can be played in Windows Phone 8 soon!

In a blog post, Microsoft's Michael Stroh said Windows Phone 8 devices are now the latest home of the addictive game where players "turn, jump and slide" to getting hidden treasure.

"A must-have game for your Windows Phone," he said.

But PC Magazine pointed out the "Temple Run" coming out for Windows Phone is the original version and not the newer "Temple Run 2."

Windows 8 to be released on October 26! Earlier report says that it will be on October 8.

The most anticipated operating system will be sold for $39.99 for users of existing products while the physical disc will cost $69.99 in stores.

The company also says that it will support successful apps by only taking a 20% fee on apps that generate $25,000 or more in sales. Until apps reach that $25,000 milestone, however, Microsoft will be taking an industry-standard cut of 30%.

Windows 8 is the next version of Microsoft Windows, a series of operating systems produced by Microsoft for use on personal computers, including home and business desktops, laptops, tablets, and home theater PCs.

Windows 8 allows users readily to store and share personal data among various devices under the "SkyDrive" cloud computing service.

Windows 8 has four editions: Windows 8, Windows 8 Pro, Windows RT, and Enterprise.
