Mark your calendars! PlayStation Experience is a two-day community gaming event coming to Las Vegas this December 6th and 7th...and you're invited!

According to Playstation Blog:

"Prepare for two intense days of PlayStation gaming, content, and activities. Attendees will sit in on in-depth panels, meet the industry’s best developers, score hands-on gameplay with tons of upcoming PlayStation games, collect free swag, and get a chance to purchase rare collectibles directly from their favorite game studios. Attendees will also get an exclusive first look at what’s coming next in 2015, which I am told you will not want to miss.

The two-day community event will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 6th and 7th, 2014. And stay tuned for October 20th, when we release details on how you can be part of this legendary event; the one-day pass will cost $50.00, with the two-day pass going for $90. The venue is huge, too, so we’ll have plenty of room and plenty of games. Bring your friends and family (if they are 18 and over)!"

Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition is out on PS4

Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition is out Now on PS4! Hi PlayStation Blog readers! We’re thrilled to say that the all-encompassing Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition is out now. The amazing team at United Front Games has worked really hard in making this an even better experience for the PS4 so we hope you guys enjoy!

According to one reader: This game came out quite while ago. Sure it’s got the DLC included. Sure you spent lots of time upgrading the graphics. It’s a great game and for those that haven’t played it are in for a real treat. However, I think Naughty Dog did it right. The price should be lower. There should be a price for people that own the digital version to upgrade to the definitive edition. This game is over 2 years old and the price point gives HD remakes a bad name.

PlayStation TV launches today in North America starting at $99.99. Play hundreds of games, including PS4 titles via Remote Play, PS3 games on PlayStation Now, PSone Classics and more.

Stream a wide range of PS4 games from the PS4 system to your PlayStation TV via Remote Play over a local Wi-Fi or wired connection.

What is Remote Play?

Remote Play is a feature that lets the PlayStation TV operate a PS4 system via a wired or wireless connection. This gives you the ability to play most PS4 games away from the PS4 system on your PlayStation TV in another room in your home.

Most PS4 games support Remote Play; however, you should look for a "Remote Play" icon on the back of your game's box, or consult the game's instruction manual for confirmation. For digital downloads, you can check the item's description in the PlayStation Store, before or after purchase.

What You Need

Required:

  • PS4 system

  • PlayStation TV with System Software 3.30 or later

  • Optional:

  • Remote Play compatible game (Games that require a camera or Move controller are not compatible)

  • Router (To connect via home network)

  • Types of Remote Play Connections

The PS4 system can connect to the PlayStation TV in a two different ways. The PS4 system Link app on the PlayStation TV will pick the connection method best suited to your current situation.

PS4 system as Wireless Access Point: This option lets your PlayStation TV wirelessly connect directly to the PS4 system and provides the best Remote Play experience.

Home Network (LAN or Wi-Fi): The PlayStation TV connects to a router via LAN cable (recommended) or wirelessly through Wi-Fi, which in turn connects to the PS4 system. Use this option if your home router is closer than your PS4 system to where you'd like to use Remote Play.

How to Connect and Start Remote Play

On the PS4 system:

  1. Go to  (Settings) > [Remote Play Connection Settings].

  2. Make sure that both [Enable Remote Play] and [Connect Directly with PlayStation®Vita System] boxes are checked.

This will provide the best Remote Play experience. If you're experiencing issues with a direct connection, you can un-check this box to bypass the wireless access point option and connect via your home network.

  3. If this is the first time you are connecting your PlayStation TV to your PS4 system, select [Add Device] and press X button icon to display an 8-digit code that you will need in the next section.

You do not need to do this step if you previously connected to the PS4 system

On the PlayStation TV:

  1. Select  (PS4 system Link) and press X button icon, then select [Start] and press X button icon again.

  2. Select [Next] and press X button icon.

  3. If you have previously connected to the PS4 system, PlayStation TV will automatically search and connect.

  4. If this is the first time you've connected to the PS4 system, PlayStation will automatically search for a primary PS4 system associated with your Online ID and connect to it.

  5. If you would like to connect to a non-primary PS4 system on your home network, select [Skip] and press X button icon. Enter the 8-digit number displayed on the PS4 system's screen, select [Register], and press X button icon. You have 5 minutes to enter this code.

  6. The PlayStation TV will search for your PS4 system and connect via the best connection method. You will see a notification on your PS4 system stating that a user has connected via Remote Play.

The PlayStation TV's screen will now display the PS4 system's screen if you are using Remote Play.

How to Install SiOS Super Nintendo Emulator iOS 8 - 8.0.2 Without (No) A Jailbreak. You can play Nintendo Games on iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 5S, 5C, 5, 4S iPad & iPod Touch.

I just did it on my iPhone 5S a couple of minutes ago but not working on my iPad 2 though.

A loophole on iOS 8.0 allows users of Apple devices to run Nintendo games.

According to a post by Wang Wei on the Hacker News, the "Date Trick" technique allows users to install classic SNES emulators without having to jailbreak their phones.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD SNES SiOS SUPER NINTENDO EMULATOR FOR iOS 8.

  • On your iOS 8 device, open up the Safari browser and Go to iEmulators.com

  • Go to the Apps in the top tabs, swipe down to SiOS: A SNES emulator, and tap “Install”.

  • Go to Settings > General > Date and Time.

  • Toggle Automatically Set to OFF, and manually set your date to two months back.

  • Once you’ve set the date two months back, retry installation.

  • When installation finishes, open SiOS app and tap Trust when the popup asks.

  • Go back to Settings and under General find the Date and Time again and toggle “Automatic” back on.

After the installation of the emulator, now it's time to grab the ROMs and get your old-school gaming on! In order to Find Games for the SiOS Super Nintendo Emulator on iPhone follow some simple guidelines given below:

  • Go to CoolRoms (Super Nintendo Section) and select a ROM.

  • Select 'Download Now' and then select 'Open in SiOS' and the ROM will save in the SiOS app.

  • Go into SiOS and select the desired ROM.

  • Now start playing and Enjoy your favorite game. You can also watch the video demonstration below, which will help you to install emulator on your iPhones and iPads.

  • APPLE TO PATCH THE LOOPHOLE IN iOS 8.1]

  •

Accoding to the hackernews.com, iOS users can still jailbreak their iDevices and download emulators through various third-party app stores. The final release of iOS 8.1, which will fix this issue, is expected later this month. So, if you love playing games without jailbreaking your iDevices, you should hold off on updating to iOS 8.1.
