 Here's what you can do if a phone linked to your GCash-registered account is lost. You have to report the incident immediately with GCash customer service.

Step by step procedure for reporting your lost mobile.

  • Click here to report immediately* to GCash the mobile number of your lost phone or SIM and provide all required information
  • Once completed, GCash customer support will temporarily suspend your account to secure your funds
  • Contact your network service provider to get a new SIM card

*Please note the ticket number provided by the GCash customer support agent. You'll need this reference number to request lifting the suspension.

Once you get a new SIM card with the same number click here to file a request to lift the suspension of the number. Input the 8-digit reference number provided during your account suspension request

Once finished, you will receive an email regarding the status of your account within 24 hours.

As an active SSS member having a monthly contribution automatically deduct by my company on my allowance, I would like to know my SSS Benefit upon retirement. Here's the tutorial on How to Compute your SSS Monthly Retirement Pension.

The SSS retirement benefit is a cash benefit paid either as a monthly pension or a as lump sum to a member who can no longer work due to old age. Those who are receiving monthly pensions have their pensions doubled every December as a bonus from SSS.

Types of retirement benefits:

  • Monthly pension – a lifetime cash benefit paid to a retiree on a regularl basis.
  • Lump sum amount – one-time payment granted to a retiree. The amount is equal to the total contributions paid by the member and/or by his/her ERs, including interest earned
How to Calculate your Pension:
2. Enter your Date of Birth, Month and Year Started as an SSS Member and Monthly Salary/Earnings.
3. Click Compute.

Qualifying Conditions

Member must have paid at least 120 monthly contributions prior to the semester of retirement and is any of the following, whichever is applicable 
  1. at least 60 years old and separated from employment or has ceased to be an SE/OFW/Household Helper (optional retirement);
  2. at least 65 years old whether still employed/SE, working as OFW/Household Helper or not (technical retirement);
  3. at least 55 years old and separated from employment or has ceased to be an SE, if an “underground mineworker” (optional retirement);
  4. at least 60 years old whether still employed/SE or not, if an “underground mineworker” (technical retirement); or
  5. a total disability pensioner who has recovered from disability and is at least 60 years old (or at least 55 years old, if an underground mineworker).

I remember when my company in Dubai told me that I will be transferred to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,  I have to rush to close my U.A.E. mobile and TV subscription from Etisalat. I did is called the Etisalat Hotline and I ended up being in their office to officially close my account since  I was enrolled for auto-pay on my debit card.

Saying goodbye to your home away from home can be stressful. Canceling services, leases, visas, bank accounts – there are a lot of things to wind up, but not enough time. Here are a few tips on how to cancel your monthly subscription with Etisalat easily (for Postpaid plans or eLife packages). How to cancel your monthly subscription?

Here is the step-by-step guide on how to cancel your Etisalat subscription.

Call 101- Cancel your plan at least 48 hours before your departure so that the whole process is finished before you reach the airport.

Close your account- Our agent will check your outstanding balance and exit fees (if applicable). You can pay with your credit/debit card over the phone.

No hidden charges- Your service will be disconnected immediately. No need to worry about hidden or late charges.

Postpaid customers can keep their number active for up to 60 days after leaving the UAE. It can be done by: 
  1. Moving the plan to a Prepaid plan by calling 101 or visiting the Etisalat store

Delete the Netflix app


  1. Begin from the PS Vita Home Screen.

  2. Press and hold your finger on the Netflix app until you see the  circle in the upper right corner of the Netflix app icon.

  3. Press the  circle.

  4. Select Delete.

  5. Select OK.









Refresh your Netflix login information





  1. Launch the Netflix app.

  2. Using the arrows on your device, enter the following sequence:
    Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Up, Up, Up

  3. Select Deactivate.

  4. Connect your Netflix Account to your PS Vita.

Open QuickTime. Click File menu, then click New Movie Recording (QuickTime opens). Click on the arrow next to the Record button and select your iPhone from the list in both Camera and Microphone sections. Open the Periscope app and click on any of the Replays or Broadcasts you would like to record from others.

What you need:
  • A Mac computer (I haven’t tested it on a PC, probably works as well)
  • Quick Time (it’s included on the Mac software bundle)


Steps:
  • Connect your iPhone with the USB cable into your Mac. (Allow any permissions requested, if any). If your iPhone has the Mute button on (in red), put it back to its normal state (Mute off).
  • Open QuickTime.
  • Click File menu, then click New Movie Recording (QuickTime opens).
  • Click on the arrow next to the Record button and select your iPhone from the list in both Camera and Microphone sections.
  • Open the Periscope app and click on any of the Replays or Broadcasts you would like to record from others.
  • Once you are ready to record, click the Record button on the QuickTime app and then click Play in your iPhone on the selected broadcast.
  • When you are ready to save the video from QuickTime, just click on the File menu, then click on Export and finally click on the resolution you would like to save the video you have recorded.
