PNB Tips against internet's dangers

 PNB gave some tips on how to safeguard yourself from the internet's dangers. The internet has made shopping, banking, and connecting with loved ones more accessible and convenient.

However, despite its many benefits, the internet has a lot of dangers.

Here are ways we can make our banking experience safe:

2. Download files and apps from reliable sources like Google Play and App Store.

3. Adjust your privacy settings the limit the information you are sharing online.

Android is the Most Popular Operating System in 2023

Android is the most used Android System as of March 2023 according to Microsoft Clarity's review of my Website. Currently, I am using two Android phones, Samsung Galaxy S6 and Huawei phone and I am browsing the net with Android OS. When a device goes from just working to actually making life easier, Android is behind it. It’s the reason that your GPS avoids traffic, your watch can text and your Assistant can answer questions. It’s the operating system inside 2.5 billion active devices. From 5G phones to stunning tablets, Android powers them all.

No. of sessions for Android is 62.33%,   iOS at 21.14% MacOS at 8.94%, Windows at 5.42% and Linux at 2.17%. Only Linux is the only Operating System I am yet to explore.

Benefits of Using YouTube Red

There are several benefits included in your YouTube Red membership. Check out the benefit details and how to customize your YouTube Red membership:

Ad-free videos

Watch ad-free videos across YouTube when you’re signed into your YouTube Red account. This includes ads before and during a video, as well as banner ads, search ads, and video overlay ads. 

Save offline

Save videos and playlists to watch offline when you aren’t connected to the internet. Save offline is available on YouTube and YouTube Gaming mobile apps. 

Save videos offline

1. Start watching a video on the YouTube or YouTube Gaming mobile app.


2. Tap add to offline  below the video player (under the DETAILS tab in the YouTube Gaming app)


3. Select the video quality.


4. The available offline icon  will appear below the video player when successfully saved.

To remove a saved video, tap available offline   and select Remove.

Make sure you are signed in with the same YouTube account that you used to activate your YouTube Red membership.

Change offline saving settings

By default, videos and playlists can be saved offline only when connected to a Wi-Fi network. To save videos offline over a mobile network, go to Settings  and turn off Save over Wi-Fi only under "Background & Offline".

Set offline video quality

To change the default quality for saving videos, go to Settings  and select Quality under "Background & Offline". Higher quality videos may take longer to save offline and may use more storage space on your device. 

If less than 5% of storage space is available on your device, you won't be able to add additional videos to offline. To free up additional space, try removing a saved video or playlist. 

Accessibility

• You must be signed into your YouTube Red account to save videos to watch offline.


• Some actions, like commenting and liking, are not available while viewing videos offline.


• Videos will remain offline for up to 30 days. 


• Some content may not be available offline when you reconnect to the Internet due to content restrictions from video creators. 


• If your device loses connectivity while saving a video or playlist offline, it will automatically resume when you reconnect to a mobile or Wi-Fi network.

Background play Play videos while using other apps or when your screen is off. Background play is available on YouTube and YouTube Gaming mobile apps.   

Customize or disable background play

By default, background play is enabled on YouTube mobile apps when you are signed in with your YouTube Red membership account. 

To customize or disable background play: 

1. Go to Settings .


2. Select Background Play under "Background & Offline". 


3. Make your selection:
   
   
   • Off:  Videos will never play in the background. 
   
   
   • Headphones or external speakers: Videos will only play in the background if your device is connected to headphones, speakers, or an external audio output. 
   
   
   
   

Update to the latest version of the YouTube mobile app to make sure you have access to all the features included in your YouTube Red membership.
