Filipino fans in Dubai will have a chance to throw their full support behind the Philippine national men’s football team in its friendly against Azerbaijan on Wednesday with tickets to the match free of charge, the squad announced on Tuesday.
The 127th-ranked Azkals will play the 93rd-ranked Azerbaijan at Maktoum Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Stadium in Dubai in United Arab Emirates in a match that will pit the Filipinos against a European side for the first time in 17 years.
The report added that fans are asked to arrive at the stadium before the 7 p.m. (UAE time) kickoff to avail of the free tickets. Admission to the General Admission section is free of charge, while free seats in the Grandstand could be availed by getting an Azkals cap.
