GCash Escalations Team Scam Alert

admin 17:24

This is to warn the public regarding the GCash Scammers' new modus. An e-mail pretending to come from GCash Executive Team will send you a message saying that they apologized for a certain transaction you actually did not execute and then ask for our GCash details such as your GCash Number, GCash Name, Date of Birth, Available Balance, and Lost Amount.

If you did not lose any amount and have no problem with your GCash transactions then you have to be cautious about why you received such an e-mail from the GCash Team. The best thing to do is to check the e-mail address of the sender because sometimes the e-mail looks like from a legit company  but when you double check the e-mail address it's actually coming from an individual's account.

Again, do not open any link provided on the body of the e-mail. Because once you do, the scammer/hacker will start to take over your account.
