Playstation Worldwide Studios at PAX East 2014

Are you at PAX East this weekend? So Playstation are! Come by on their booth to play games, meet developers, and win rare PlayStation goodies!

According to playstationblog, for the first time ever, five of PlayStation’s Worldwide Studios community teams have banded together to construct a community focused booth at PAX East. Additionally, there will be some great PS4 and PS Vita games showing at PAX from some of our talented indie developers as well, which we will detail below. The PlayStation family will be in booth #608 at the Boston Convention Center April 11-13. Not only will we be selling exclusive merchandise and highly collectible PlayStation memorabilia, but you can also discuss, share, and create PlayStation memories with community team leads from Guerrilla, Media Molecule, Naughty Dog, Sony Santa Monica, and Sony Xdev.

PlayStation Community Town Halls

Every day at PAX East during the various times noted in the schedule below, each of our PlayStation studios will be taking the mic at our booth to answer your questions live in-person. We call it our “Community Town Hall”. We’ll be fielding all questions and aiming to share more about what we do as Community Managers at each of our studios, tidbits related to our current games, studio culture, and why it’s awesome being inside the development of great games. PAX EAST Show 2014 Live Streaming Online- Where to Watch

Watch PAX EAST 2014 Live Streaming Online. PAX East is held at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center from April 11-13, 2014.



In 2004, the folks at Penny Arcade decided they wanted a show exclusively for gaming. Sure, comics, anime, and other nerd hobbies were cool, and those activities all had their own shows… so what about games? From that idea spawned a small 4,500 person event in Bellevue, Washington, focused on the culture and community that is gaming.

You can check out the live streaming at gamespot.com since they usually cover any major gaming event.



Absolutely. Ever since the first PAX in 2004, they've had the following 6 rules in place, printed on all badges and programs.



1. Drugs are bad.



2. Don’t steal.



3. Don’t punch or kick people.



4. No cheating.



5. Don’t harass anyone.



6. Don’t mess with things that aren’t yours.



According to FAX FAQ, if you see anyone doing ANY of these to others or yourself, please approach an Enforcer to report the incident as soon as possible. You’ll be asked to fill out an incident report form (either on record or anonymously, whichever you prefer), which will be immediately escalated to, depending on the severity, show management, show security, venue security, and local authorities.



GameSpot will be streaming Demolish The Developers on Monday, April 14th at 11am and again at 2pm PST. The Lobby will air at it's normal time of 2pm PST on Tuesdays.
