PayPal is now available as a payment option for digital content on Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch! Generally, PayPal is a safe online payment system, because end-to-end encryption and two-factor authentication secure transactions. PayPal has more than 400 million active users and is used in 200 countries and territories worldwide — that's a large pool of victims to scam.

Linking your accounts will also allow you to use PayPal as a payment option on the Nintendo website when purchasing content for the Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS family of systems.
This option is currently available to residents of the U.S. and Canada who are 18 years and older.

How it works.
