Android passes 900 million activations worldwide on 2013 with 400 million activations on 2012.

Google announced at the Google I/O 2013 keynote that it has officially reached 900 million Android activations.

Google’s Sundar Pichai took the stage to reveal the news. Last year, activations passed 400 million total, which means growth has over doubled in a single year.
